These are a couple of my favorite Bible verses. 1 John 1:5 reminds me that God is my source and standard of truth. He is holy and pure, and I am not. He exposes the darkness. Psalm 119:103 tells me God's Word is sweeter than honey. God who is light exposes my sin and demands I need a Savior, His sweet words of the Gospel and chance for redemption tell me Jesus is my Savior, my salvation. The words Light & Honey point me back to the Word, back to Jesus. I want to be used by God to glorify Him through my work.
